Augmented Reality Advent Calendar by Windel
Dec 22nd 2013
Augmented reality can be really fascinating. But what happens if you combine a calendar with an App and 24 tiny doors to open till Christmas? Yes, the thing is getting even more interesting. I’ve found this pretty well designed (notice the iPad-like design of the calendar) Windel Advent calendar in my favorite supermarket. Each day when you open one door, you will not only get a chocolate but also a small animation with a Santa Claus when you scan the pattern on the door. Funny, isn’t it? More >

The French rocker came to life in a 3D virtual concert when you placed the magazine in front of a webcam.
The French company Total Immersion who did this, now teams with Ferrero in order to give us more surprise while opening the Ferrero Kinder chocolate eggs. Let’s have a look what’s inside the surprise egg! More >
Total Immersion: Augmented reality meets paper ad
Jun 19th 2010
You might ask yourself what a good old French rocker Johnny Halliday (better known in USA as Smet thanks to star fashion designer Chrisitian Audigier )has something to do with augmented reality.
This question is legit but here is the answer: the French TV magazine Tele 7 jours are offering a pretty nice feature: if you place the cover of the magazine in front of your webcam you will have the pleasure to see our french rocker appear on the magazine’s cover playing a private concert for you; nice isn’t it? Indeed the French augmented reality specialized company Total Immersion really did a great job.
