[...] This is perhaps one of the most frequently asked questions on the web: you’ve downloaded a nice FLV (let me guess, from YouTube ) and you want to convert it into a MP3 to be able to play it on your iPhone or mobile phone. How to realize this? Yes, there are tons of FLV to MP3 converters and media converters on the web. But seriously, why do we need something so sophisticated whereas a simple command line will do the whole work for us? Here is my solution with a MS-DOS batch file (will only work on Windows, for the Mac solution check How to convert mp4 with Automator). [...]

Hi, I've tested the files with the same result. I will go deeper into the min3D framework to find out why , i suspect a OpenGL issue. I'll post on the new "min3d Q&A" page the results. Yes to put a color onto the cube the quickest way would be to generate a texture, save it as JPG and link it to the OBJ file. To realize this, you only need to put following line at the end of your mtl file :

map_Kd myTexture.png

Here is my obj file:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11530726/box_obj
Here is my mtl file:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/11530726/box_mtl

I tried what you said above but it doesn't seem to work. The color appears perfectly on the emulator, but on the device (Droid X) it is just whitish grey. If this problem can't be easily solved, an alternative could be to use a texture file because they seem to work fine. However, I don't know how to take an object with colors on it, and specify these colors in an image texture file instead.

Hi leptictidium, could you please post the content of your mtl and the piece of code you are using? I have a doubt if this is a problem with the device or with the loading of the mtl (without map_Kd) and OpenGL.
Please tell me what you see/get when your are using following values:

mtl a_test
Ka 0.1986 0.0000 0.0000
Kd 0.5922 0.0166 0.0000
Ks 0.5974 0.2084 0.2084
illum 2
Ns 100.2237

and then in the code:

faceObject3D.colorMaterialEnabled(true);

I'm getting a Yellow Cube in the emulator and a very badly lighted yellow cube (almost gray) on the Android device (Dell Streak 2.2)

I found something interesting. faceObject3D.colorMaterialEnabled() is showing up as false. Maybe if I figure out how to set this to true, the colors in my mtl file will show up?

I already have a .mtl file with the color specified in it. However, the color doesn't show up when using min3d. I am doing a simple test. I took the default cube in blender, and added a red material. When I export it, the red color is specified in the mtl file. However, when loaded into min3d its not red. If it's not too much trouble, could you see if it works for you? All I need it a red cube with the color red stored in the mtl file.
